We came home today from spending the last 5 days with Grandma and Papa. I came home today with a couple of surprises. Well not really I knew they were coming but still surprising. I got my 31 spring add on kits and my Kindle skin. Ek, can we say LOVE <3

Yarn Balls, you say?!

Yep, yard balls. Oh the fun in making stuff for Birthday Parties. I can't wait for K's Birthday Party this year.  Thanks to pinterest.com I feel so creative lol. As I am sure you know K is having a Candy Land theme and here are the start of the yarn balls we are going to have hanging from the ceiling and the buckets we are going to have candy in. Got to love Targets $1 isle in the front ;)

We had Hot Chocolate today.... K loves the movie Polar Express and as we were drinking it she was singing the song above from the movie ;)

Projects.....

Oh how we love projects...

So today we got Grandma out of the house. We went to Walmart to get some things we needed and we got another project. We also got some things for K's birthday party!! Not much went on today but here is K's project for the day!!

Sunday Funday.....

We headed to Grandma and Papas today. So on the way we stopped and got some projects to do while we were there. K picked this one out, she had the choice between a piggy bank or these and this is what she chose. :) Yay for making decisions. The box said for 5+ but my 3.5 year old could do it. Can we say one proud momma!!!

 

 

365 Project | Day Twenty-One

Rain, Rain go away come again another day!

That is all it has been doing ALL day. Yuck!! We are making Stuffed Cabbage Rolls for diner, well T is. Yum, I can't wait til they are done. Hopefully soon, so in the mean time I am here blogging away. 

We have been playing with Layla with her favorite pull toy. Here is a picture of her waiting patiently for it to be thrown to her.

365 Project | Day Twenty

Early Morning- UGH!!!

We got up super early this morning to take my mom to the hospital for surgery. 4:45am and I was up. We left around 5:30 so that we could be there at 6 surgery was scheduled for 7:30 of course the DR. was late. Never fails. Aunt Connie showed up to sit and wait with us which was super nice. :)

I guess surgery took about an hour-hour and fifteen minutes. We finally got a call back to the consultation room and the doctor came in and said everything went fine. YAY!!!! Less invasive surgery went good. No major cuts. 

Aunt Connie was staying because when my mom got to a room the floor that she was going to be on would not allow children under the age of 12 on the floor, silly right? Oh we as K would say "hostible" procedure. So me and K set off, but before we left the hostible we had to stop in the gift shop, we got momma a picture frame and on it, it says "Three Generations" :) 

We went back to my parents house to get stuff we need and left what we didn't need to bring home and headed back home. Before we could even get out the driveway K was asleep. Needless to say that didn't last but maybe 10 minutes. She is finally now asleep after being up since 5:20 and only having a 10 minute cat nap.

I just talked to my mom a little bit ago and she sounded great. She told me "I am soooo high" It was hilarious hearing that come out my mom and her just laughing for no reason but I am glad she is ok.

365 Project | Day Nineteen

Yummy yummy cake pops!!

I got a cake pop machine today! I can not wait to test it out, we are going to be making some for K's birthday party. I am not sure what design we are going to do but nonetheless I am excited! 

Today my momma came and got K and me. We went and got ice cream from Dairy Queen. K loves ice cream cones. "Nilla" to be exact. Yum! Then we went and looked at house for rent in their area. We are moving back, we are moving back, we are moving back and I can't wait. Right daddy? :) 

Momma is having surgery tomorrow so we had to stay the night and have to get up super early to take her for surgery, then we are coming back home to spend the weekend with T-Day as K used to call him and then going back to take care of momma on Sunday!! What a busy next week I have!!

365 Project | Day Eighteen

Can't believe it has been 17 years.

I lost my cousin 17 years ago today, just two days after my birthday. I didn't really know her well because I was only 8 but I can tell you I think about her from time to time. I wonder what life would have been like if she was still around. I wish I would have got the chance to know her better. 

RIP Tish!!

So again not much went on today. Well, yesterday the wind blew and blew so hard that we had to call our landlords and get them to come fix the roof because it blew a ton of the shingles off. They were here bright and early to fix it. 

Went to the gym again today and did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the bike :) Tonight we had pot roast in the crock pot. Yum!!! 

I know it doesn't look very good but trust me when I tell you, it was freaking AMAZING!!!

Cell Phone.....

Not much went on today. I did get my new cell phone in the mail today. I love it, it is completely AWESOME!!!

Went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the elliptical.

Yep, and that pretty much sums up my day :)

365 Project | Day Sixteen

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

I turned 25 today, actually less than an hour ago. Today was really good. I got to spend the day with my beautiful baby girl and tonight with my awesome husband. We made a tent out of blankets. Had banana splits, a burger and some wine tonight. I also got a new water bottle for the gym and a new cell phone since mine was broken. The cell phone will be here tomorrow. I got my Kindle from my parents early. It was a great day :) 

365 Project | Day Fifteen

Milkshake, Milkshake, Milkshake, who wants a milkshake?

Tonight we just had a random, lets make milkshake. So K and I headed off to the store to get ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup. She got to walk in the store and not ride a shopping cart she was so excited. She felt like a big girl, which she is. Even if I don't want to admit it yet! Anyways she helped me carry the item to the register. Then got to carry a bag to the car and inside the house. My big helper!

Needless to say we enjoyed them!

Giant Teddy Bear.

Sam's Club has had this GIANT teddy bear for quite sometime and every time I would go with my mom (since I don't have a Sam's Club card) I would tell her how much I wanted this Teddy Bear. It was $60 and that is just well too much for a silly giant teddy bear. Well, I went to my parents this weekend as you probably already know and to my surprise my mom had gotten me the giant teddy bear. She got it on sale for $10, what a steal. Now the back of it was coming un stitched but nothing a little tlc can't handle. K had a mini photo sesh with him. Here is a picture from that. 

365 Project | Day Thirteen

Birthday Party!

I am getting an early start to K's birthday this year, since the years past well I procrastinate. So, this year I made it a goal to start early. She is having a candy land themed party and we wanted to make a wreath for the door. We decided on a balloon wreath that I saw on pinterest.com. It worked because the colors in the candy land themed are pretty primary with pink and purple thrown in. I was at my parents house this weekend and I got my Momma to help me make it. We went to Michael's and got the straw wreath, then had to go to Joann Fabrics to get the floral hooks. Then it was off to Party City to get the balloons. In all it took about 30-45 minutes to make. It was a fun project and K loves it!

Off to Grandma & Papa's we go tonight!

K is so excited to be going to Grandma & Papa's. So she got up bright and early this morning and started to pack her bags. Needless to say I am going to have to repack them because the majority of them are toys and no clothes lol. We haven't stayed there since before Christmas. Oh and not to mention she gets to see Tigger. I won't be on to post pictures this weekend, so I will have to catch up on Sunday when we get home.

January 11, 2012, what a rainy, yucky day!

So K and I decided to curl up on the couch in our PJ's and watch movies pretty much all day. It was so relaxing for such a yucky day. Not really much went on yesterday so I am going to end this with a picture :)

Babies and Scentsy Buddies, Oh My!!!!

K told me that she wanted to take some pictures with her babies "Nequa" & her Scentsy buddies, Lumpy the Elephant, Linny the Lamb & Pooki the Bear. The only problem was that she would not smile and wanted her eyes close lol. But that is ok it makes the picture and the memories :) 

A little twist with this post. I was going through some pictures from way back when, ok not really way back when but from when K was born. Here is a little collage I put together of her years, from newborn to now which she is 3.5.

So, where is my time machine you ask? Well I am in the process of inventing it. LOL!! Keep updated on the progress of that time machine!

I got my birthday present early from my parents <3 T and I were supposed to work the weekend of my birthday but plans change. Before we knew that my mom had already brought my birthday present. A Kindle :) I am already pretty much done with a book, "A Stolen Life" by Jaycee Dugard. It's pretty good.

365 Project | Day Eight

Yep, late for this one too. This one will be short though.

K had a long, good day yesterday. We got to spend the day with Grandma. We went shopping and just hung around the house. K even got to stay up a little later than normal. She was one tired baby when she finally went to sleep, so I just had to grab a picture of her sleeping. She is my sleeping princess.
